For two years in a row we've been offering a hands on workshop for children to learn how to take their photography skills to the next level. Last summer we worked with kids up to 6 years old, and this time we tweaked the contents of our workshop to adapt it to older children.
It was an incredible experience, as they are already very knowledgeable about their cameras and smartphones, but they were curious about certain functions and tricks that, in time, we were able to explain to them. We used lots of examples, and gave them enough time to practice what we discussed.
At the end of day two, we went to a nearby playground and experimented with a camera technique called stop motion, in which the photographers set a fixed position for the camera, and build a whole scenario around any particular object. In this case, we used toy trucks to re create a construction site. The boys named the project "Construction Zone". We hope you enjoy the video and we encourage you to leave them a message in the comments section down below.
Until next time!
